Sure, I don't see anything wrong with that, but why not just having one wedding in like 4 years? You're an adult, don't let your family's beliefs control you.

Yes. It's your marriage and you can choose to do whatever you want with it. Have as many weddings as you want. However, if you don't usually have your wedding within the first year of your marriage, later on if you do a wedding. It'll be different. Meaning you'll feel differently. After a couple has been together for a long time, it's different. For example, my husband and I got married, but we never had a honeymoon. We didn't have the money and decided we'll go somewhere down the line. We never did. Now that we've already been married for 8 years, we know if we go on a honeymoon it won't be as fun or exciting as when we first got married.

Sure why not?
The judge and witness thing is just for the papers. The ceromony you want to have 5 or 6 years later is well... for the ceremony. its just sorta like inviting people to a party. you can have as many parties as you'd like.
Usually people get married like with a ceremony.... but really they sign the actual papers after the wedding or sometime before.

Yes, very possible. It would be more like renewing your vows. But it is the same as a wedding. That is sort of what my bf are plainning on doing. We are going to have a court house wedding now, then in a couple of years we want to have a big wedding. Good Luck! But I will tell you that it will be a lot easier if you have your family support, but you know your family better than anyone else.... Good luck!

The truth will have to come out at some time. If you have to hide your marriage then maybe it isn't time to marry yet. 19 is young. Besides, being secretly married isn't fun either. What if you get pregnant? Sounds like you'll be living apart?
Too much strain on a young marriage will break it. If you love each other it will wait.

I don't know if it depends on the country your in or not but you can here. Well it's more like a renewing of vows. But do you really want to be married at 19. Have you thought of a long engagement.

You can have as many "ceremonies" as you want. Legal wise, you only have one. Go to the courthouse and get married, then it's legal. You can have something to "show" everyone whenever.
And tell your family tough. I got married at 18, our families hated it but they got over it. I mean, what, are you not going to tell them you are married for 5 yrs? I don't get that part I guess.

Well, you could hold a commitment ceremony in the future. If I were you, I would wait to get married until I was ready. If it's important enough to you, then you should get married now and tell your family to deal with it.

Do what you want. Be open and tell your parents that you want and are going to get married now. If they really love you and care about you, they'd stick by and support you as much as possible.
if they won't come to the wedding just because they're too immature for disagreeing with your adult decisions, then you shouldn't go to the trouble of having two weddings and such!
get married now if you want, and ask your parents to try to understand. if they don't come to the wedding, then it's not worth the trouble to please them later on down the road anyway...

If you are ALREADY married 5 or 6 years from now...why would you want to do it again?
Oh! I get it...you expect to divorce in the meantime and REmarry 5 or 6 years from now. Or is yours a throw-away question?
