OK... I would suggest against an actual clit piercing...There is too much potential for you to lose sensation. However a hood piercing is great. The ring still rubs on your clit and there is a very low risk of losing sensation. Plus the clit hurts a whole lot worse. The hood is a hard sharp pain right when it gets done and then it is sensitive for a couple of days. Oddly enough peeing on it is a good thing. Sex is OK right after you get it done as long as he is gentle. However, if it hurts stop, only you can decide what is right during sex. You are usually good to go after a week.
As for your tongue. It hurts. You can not really eat well for about 3 days. You have to rinse w/ mouthwash after you eat, drink, kiss, or smoke for about a week. After that you can change from the longer piercing bar to the shorter "normal" bar. Oral will be out of the question for at least a week. So will drinking alcohol especially beer because of the potential for yeast infection.
Both are done w/ clamps and a 14 gage needle. The clit/hood should have a ring and your tongue should have a long barbell
As for the shop. It should be clean. The room should be private. There should be 2 ppl from the shop in there during your genital piercing. At least one should be a female (just like in the doctor's office). Of course gloves and a fresh needle should be used. If you are uncomfortable in the shop then go somewhere else.

Well, you can't do ANY thing with it while it's healing so getting it pierced FOR your husband's birthday would be a BIG disappointment to him ( Honey, I can't DO that...it's healing. ) Choose another time!!! Go ahead and do the clit first the tongue pain may scare you off of doing the clit, but if you can pierce THAT the rest is cake. I had my nipples done 3 months apart and almost chickened out of the second one.

I would not do either and I will tell you why. The clit piercing might eventually affect your "feelings" down there. I have heard of women losing their sensitivity down there. As for the tongue peircing. It is not good for your teeth. Plain and simple. But who am I. Why don't you look up info on the net about this. And then you will be able to make a wise, informed decision. And find out if your husband would like for you to do this. I realize that you want to surprise him. So find a way to get his opinion.

i've heard some things about getting the clit. you gotta worry about infection and peeing might hurt . i can't remember all that my prior friend was telling me but it wasn't good but that's just her experience. as for the tounge piercing, its not bad. its a one shot job but healing might be difficult for some. i was determened to have my way of expression. my tounge swoll for about a week and i could not eat anything. only hot soup and ice consistly. but when the swelling comes down its so sexy. i get nothing but compliments on my ring. but be prepard to be thrown into a couple of sterotypes. that took me off guard because i didn't expect that. good luck!

I love my husband to death but there is no way I would peirce something for him. It has to hurt especially down there. I think it looks stupid to have your tounge peirced but hey that is my opionion. It doesn't feel any better for the guy that you have your tounge pierced it only shows others "Look I am doing oral sex".

Do you really think this is going to improve your sex life? It will make you very uncomfortable, and tongue peircing is very bad for the teeth.
