I have the book Taking Charge of your Fertility and it is helping a lot, but this is the one question that I have that is not in the book. Thanks!!!

Not unless you are pregnant. 14 is average but 10-17 is still normal. Anything over 18 then there are 2 possibilities--1, ovulation really didn't take place, or 2, you are pregnant. If someone was having consistant 20 day luteal phases then it is more likely that there is a problem with early miscarriages. Hope this helps!

i'm on my 2d cycle of Clomid for a quick luteal section. Mine strengthen into approximately 8-9 days until at last at last now beginning Clomid. I ovulated on day 19 very final month and my lp strengthen into 11 days. even though if waiting to ovulate this month. i'm taking 50mg, days 5-9.
