Is it ever ok to leave your husband for another man? What if the other man left his wife for you? What if you had 2 kids to think about, but all you can think about is how happy this other man makes you, how in love you are with him, and how you have finally found "the one"?

Life is too short to not be happy. Don't listen to these stupid fools who tell you it's "not ok". Do what your heart tells you to do. What kind of mom would you be if you're stuck in an unhappy marriage, which you obviously are?

Just remember if this is the way it felt with your husband in the beginning. Usually affairs always feel good and euphoric in the beginning. That's normal when all your hormones are going. Statistics show however that those who leave their spouse rarely "live happily ever after". When day-to day life sets in with this man you are going to leave your husband for then it won't be all fun and romance like it is now. You'll still have the hassles of every day life except now you would have broken up your family and your children will have to suffer through a divorce.
Another thing to consider, if this man is leaving his wife for you, what makes you think he won't do the same to you. Also, what trust will he have in you that you will not do this to him?
Whatever happened to marriage"till death do us part". That's why there's such a high divorce rate. No body really means it.

Remember this is exactly how you felt before you married your husband. You stand alot to lose here and you dont have any guarantee that your life will be any better than your current one. And just because he says he will leave his wife for you;has he or has he even started divorce proceedings against her? Right now it sounds exciting because you dont have any committment or responsibilities with him so its the easy uncaring life that you enjoy. This never lasts. So this guy may be "the one" but the one what? By the way your kids will be so proud of their mother and "the one". Really think about it and is it really worth it? Good luck

The grass always seems greener on the other side. Think of when you first fell in love with your husband. You probably thought that your husband was the one as well. Say that you did leave your husband for this man. What makes you think he is not going to change as well. You married your husband and said your vows to him. You were suppose to be faithful to one another.

hum, and i assume this new bf is willing to take over with your two children? Have you specifically talked about that? Ya know i've been married for over 30 years, love comes and go's. sometimes you give more, sometimes you get more. you have two kids to think about. you should always have their best interests at heart FIRST. Are you really thinking with a clear head or a love sick one? I'd vote for husband #1.

If you never loved him, why didn't you divorce him?

Tell your husband that you want a separation to help you sort out your feelings for this new guy.
Do not contact this other guy.
Use the separation to see how you like life without your spouse.

If you make the decision to divorce, then you are free to contact the other guy.

I don't think cheating is ever justified, not matter if it's physical or mental lust. But society today doesn't frown on it like they use to....do what you want, because you will anyway. Just remember KARMA though (I personally believe) and that statistically speaking it won't work. Good luck, it sounds like you've got to face some hard times ahead.

Yes why stay in a marriage without love. Don't you want your kids to know love when they become adults. We learn from our parents.

it shouldnt be but people do it everyday and the divorce rate is at 50% and people have no respect for marriage commitment anymore, sad, real sad. try counseling 1st. 2nd if they are your kids think about them and pu t there needs 1st above your selfish needs. just my opinion and god be with you,lol esp to the kids.
