I even have 2 cats aswell and that they freak out canines! they're such cool kitty kats yet canines look to run close to them and then run away! If a canines is going to stay with your cats you honestly could desire to make specific this is the two a extreme high quality canines who's used to cats or a domestic dog if u rather could desire to make it artwork. canines are prepared approximately playing or examining with new creatures and issues yet while the canines is raised up with the cats then it is used to the cat and would not honestly need to play as much as yet another canines might with the cats. Cats are proud creatures and wont take any crap from canines. If the canines would not run around the cat like a extreme rabbit (sorry, maximum suitable occasion i could desire to think of of) then the cat would be extreme high quality. Thats why a domestic dog is powerful using fact this is going to mindset the cat in a calmer and curious way that may not piss off the cats! desire it helped!

I have 2 indoor cats and 6 indoor dogs. One cat runs from the dogs, but he only does that because he WANTS the dogs to chase him. He leads them up the stairs (he even stops and goes back to get their attention if they get distracted during the chase) to where he can leap onto a ledge out of their way and the dogs cant do anything but stand there looking stupid.

My other cat growls and hisses at the dogs so they don't bother her.

I have several barn cats as well as 2 Great Pyrs (large livestock guardian dogs) who live outside. The Pyrs and the cats get along great. No problems.

It just depends upon the cat and the dog. We don't declaw our cats. Seems to me that its a terrible thing to do to a cat.

Goddess Bless!

Cats fear some dogs; (only SOME dogs) because of the difference in size and because dogs usually want to chase them despite superior armament for the size of the cat.
Dogs chase cats because of the auto-flossing effect of cat fur on their teeth..
And because dogs will chase anything, even if they can't eat it.
Anyone seen a dog munching on a nice Chevy fender?

Cats are a trillion times more intelligent then dogs.

The stupid dog will chase it forever, the cat wont even need to resort to blinding it with its shredders.
