i found out with both of my kids at 5 months (20 weeks)

With an ultrasound, most docs make you wait til 18-20 weeks. OR if you choose to have an amnio test because you want to check for genetic disorders or are over 35, they can tell the gender then a few weeks into the second trimester.

I learned the sex of my baby at 8 weeks, through a DNA based on test, they look for the Y or X Chromosomes of the fetus and then they tell you if is going to be a girl or boy. they told me I am having a girl (yes!) I had to pay close to 250 bucks tho.

The baby has it's genitals at 16 weeks but if you are doing an ultrasound it's better to wait until 20-24 weeks cuz testicles don't make themselves too visable.
