Is there some fear that the slightest bit of personal insight will generate unwanted attention? Isn't part of the online experience interacting with those we know nothing about?

Its another sad reflection on society and so called modern times . everybodys scared sh*tless about what might be. Society is getting more withdrawn and paranoid every day.

They don't want to be stalked. Don;t you ever hear of those old men who like to pretend they're someone else? Sick. People are sick. And you can find most sick people on the internet because they have nothing better to do with their lives. But I'm not sick and I like Yahoo answers. People are sick. Period.

Personally I don't mind talking with people online via e-mail, but sometimes people are not who you think they are. Scary huh?

Beacuse their just scaried that their feelings are going to get hurt. Then they might just be shy
