We live in North Carolina. We saw a hedge that was green (not sure if it was evergreen or holly) that had orangeish color berries. We would like to know the name of the bush.

Variety of the holly family. Go to your local garden center with the same info and they could help you better.

Probably a Holly. Look into Burford Holly, Berries Jubilee Holly, or a Nellie R. Stevens Holly. Might be Mary Nell or Fosters Holly. Possible but doubtful...Pyrocantha. Try a local nursury or bookstore.

If it was a woody plant it may be russian olive and believe me you do not want it. The birds eat the berries and spread the seeds everywere, your neighbors will hate you to.
