i wanted feedback on some of these ideas for a teen 13th birthday dance/swim party at night. Please help and if you have ideas, post em!

--put edible glitter in the punch

--give door prizes to the 1st, 13th, and 26th people through the door

--Have the cake have its own decorated table

--Have a buffet-style table with orderve-type foods

--have a chocolate fondue pot (fountains do not work outside, do they?)

--Give people small personalized chocolate bars as favors Please give me feedback and let me know if you have suggestions Thanks

Wow sounds like a cool 13th birthday party! The whole buffet idea sounds great I would have never though of that. You can also try getting goodie bags to hand out to everyone but the 1st, 13th, and 26th person gets something bigger. The edible glitter sounds like people won't drink it because they'll think someone droped glitter into the punch! So i'm not too sure about that. You can try giving the invites out on a Chocolate hersey's bar! Like wrap the invite around a chocolate bar. And on the invite write things like Ingreditents (such as what the party is going to have) and Etc! I hope everything goes well. Good Luck

I totally agree as I have had the same thing just happen. I always sell items that are in good condition and describe them as accurately as I can - my seller record is therefore 100% 2 items out of 130+ however were really awful and when contacted seller they were both volatile/abuse/reluctant to refund. Left first what I thought was a legitimate neg feedback and got a tirade of abuse back which I reported to ebay. For the 2nd, I left neutral hoping to avoid conflict and still got negative back - yet as a buyer I paid on time and was always polite - it is so unfair. As the system is not arbitrated it is effectively useless - I now feel intimidated and like I cannot leave honest response - yet I cannot leave a response I know to be incorrect either. I now feel less sure of records than before too knowing that perhaps someone who does not have 100% may well have been the victim of an unscrupuplous seller who left vindictive negative reply. Totally sympathise with you - it is horrible when this happens. Great Q hoping ebay are watching.

These are great ideas.

How about some video karoke? Let them use your video camera plugged into the tv. Tip your track lights to make a 'stage'.

And a movie with the current teenage heart throb.

Turn off the lights when they are swimming?

Sounds like you are thinking about it -- have fun!

Rent a disco ball and have colored lites reflecting off it for the dance floor. Maybe make the party a "theme" party and have everyone dress to the occasion. Your other ideas sound great.
