Because it's my primary contact with the outside world.
It's made a huge difference to me, been online 12 years now.
I am disabled and often bedridden, dunno what I would do without it .

Addiction is not a right word toward Internet. Isn't Internet a lot more fun to work with than Yellow/White book ??? That's why!

The word addiction is in my opinion usually used to abate moderation.

theres just so many things that you can do on the internet. I use it for contact with my friends, games, myspace, eBay, yahoo answers, studying for school, etc.
