Yes, I do know other famous Iranians besides Mahmoud Ahmadinejad or Grand Ayatollah Khomeini. I've heard of a few on your list. Here's a few of my own contributions.

*Cyrus the Great: founder of the Achaemenid dynasty.
*Mullah Sadra:"greatest of Iran's philosophers"
*Avicenna (ibn Sina): Early Islamic physician,
philosopher "genius among geniuses"
*Shah Ismail I: Safavid ruler and Sufi master.
*Mohammed Mossadegh: Iranian Prime Minister 1951-1953,
overthrown with help from the CIA.
*Deep Dish: Iranian-American House DJs (Ali "Dubfire"
Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi) I've seen them spin several
times. They put on some the best shows.

It doesn't surprise me that many beauty contests are won by women of Iranian descent. The few Iranian women I saw at college or at Deep Dish shows made me consider moving to Iran.
