Will there EVER be a FINAL final fantasy? Why or why not?

And with a name like Final Fantasy, why was there ever more than even ONE? Has the name been a LIE all along? Zup?

let me tell you the story behind final fantasy's name.

way back in the olden days, a brighter time, a time when children played in the streets, and ate wild berries and parents didn't have to worry nearly so much as they do now ... like 20 years ago... there was a company called square.

this company was starting to go broke. they didn't really know what to do about it, they just weren't that successful. but they tried.

well, finally, they decided to put all of their money in one last hit or miss shot. a creation of a game that would most likely make the company go bankrupt. while rpgs weren't new, there was dragon warrior by enix (the grave in elfland said erdrick on nintendo) and there were tabletop games like ad&d, this was still a new venture.

since it was possibly the last game, they called it 'final fantasy' that it might have been their last fantasy to have a successful game. they didn't include much of a story, it was just a 'go here, then there, then here' game. luckily for square, it made it big though.

I hope there is. Read my question. One of the answers is really sad. A guys friend plays Final fantasy all day. on weekends 18-20. normal 8-10. people are wasting their lifes with that crap. Its bad. I never liked it. And now I hate it. I hope everyone who saw this stops playing that game. People have died from playing it. You don't want to be next. So woot may be the worse word for another one coming out.
