Since you got pregnet you take take responcibility. i agree with the other lady. i would keep it. But if it was a really bad situation murder is not a option. so adoption.

Preferrably neither. I absolutely love children, but since you asked I would say adoption. The child never did anything wrong. Abortion you can become to regret. Where as with adoption you know the baby is getting a chance. And some day if you want you may be able to reconnect when you're ready. Where as with abortion the baby is gone for good!

Adoption why because the child might be another great singer like Judy Garland remember the movie The Wizard of OZ. In some of the books I have read on her life it was said her parents wanted to have her aborted because they didn't want any more children. Her family doctor talked her parents out of it. Good thing too she was a great entertainer and actress. It sad to say how many children have been aborted when one of them could have a chance to live and have parents to take care of them and maybe even find a cure for cancer.

Well I'd keep my baby if I could, and if I could not I would give him/her up for adoption. I'm 19 weeks pregnant and have thought through all the options and was pressured to get an abortion, which i did not do. However I believe life is life, and I would do anything to protect my child born or not.

Well, abortion is just plain wrong (and murder). So I would say adoption. If that person goes for an abortion...you never know, you can totally have the ability to take care of the kid. Therefore; I would say have the kid and if things still don't work out then put up for adoption.

Neither. Its called taking responsibility for your actions. (yeah, i know you're taking a survey, so this isnt directed at you) Everyone knows that even "protected" sex can lead to pregnancy, so only selfish fools have sex before they are ready for a child. Even if I was raped, I would keep the child. One of my best friends went thru this, and kept her little boy, who is now a perfectly healthy 10 year old. It doesnt bother her, she knew that she had to put her own feelings aside, because being a parent means being self-less. I got pregnant at 19, and endured endless problems with my family. My in-laws wanted me to abort. I stood firm. Even if everyone I loved abandoned me, nothing could make me give up my baby. Now, shes beautiful and healthy. My husband and I are happy, and things with our families are better than they have ever been. Its too bad more girls out there give up so easy.

Well of course I'd rather see a child have a chance at life but then again it seems that so many children who are adopted are treated horrible today....so this is what I think...if a person isn't ready for a child then they should use protection so neither of these situations would have to be utilized. The ideal win win situation would be that mom would keep her baby.

If I couldn't raise the child I would choose Adoption. Abortion is for people who cannot deal with consequences of their actions.

its a tough question and will always have tough answers. A lot of people support abortion wouldn't do it them selves, and then you find the teenage mother who although has opposed it her hole life getting one after a date rape or finding out her life is on the line.
I like the idea of adoption, but these days its impossible to do it. rather than adopt far to many people opt for fertility drugs and surrogate parents, leaving our orphans alone and lost in the cracks, to be raised in dangerous and often abusive foster homes. (In regular homes 1 in 5 children is molested or abused by the age of 18, in foster homes its 1 in 2)

Give the baby a chance in life. If i made the decision to have sex then i have to be responsible enough to own up to the consequenses. I wouldn't abort noe adopt i would keep it.

1000+ children die from abortions ( think per state), so lets think about that. It may not seem like enough compared to world population, but think about it like this. An average kindergarden class is 15 students. With abortions you would have well over 50 kindergarden classrooms not born. Even more, thats about 10 graduating seniors around the US. does it seem fair?
