I know how you feel, I did bout 11 months ago! I find a couple of glasses of red wine in the evening really helps, but if you don't drink, I'm not sure, maybe take up yoga or something, what I did find helped at first was lots of exersice, tiring myself out and of course you get a feel good factor from that. Good luck

The natural highs wont help you relax, most of them feel like a mixture of poppers and caffine. The herbal highs like the teas people suggested (to me anyway) dont do anything and just taste like bad tea.

I know quite a few people who have quit cannabis and thought it was ok to replace it with wine or beer. This is a really bad idea, instead of pothead friends I now have ones who cant sleep without drinking a bottle of wine befoe bed, make sure you dont do that.

I cant suggest anything, if you dont want to smoke or drink then you will just have to stay sober. Sorry!

Exercise gives you a natural high because of the endorphins released. But it's not very relaxing until afterwards. Listening to music is relaxing and reading a good book is supposed to boost your mood by 37%. I'm sure there are plenty of things to do that don't damage your health instead of drugs.

Try a herbal 'rescue remedy' you can find it in health shops where they sell creams & potions that heal you naturally...its a small bottle with a greeny yellow label on it....just a little bit bigger bottle than essential oils come in...a few drops on your tongue will help you to chillout & then try a nice cup of tea..ordinary tea is ok & there are herbal ones, I am drinking a herbal strawberries & cream herbal tea from Julian Graves.

Well done on giving up the cannabis. Keep trying different tea's to find one you like. but rescue remedy is really good.
Good luck

lots of herbs are sedative - the mild ones are chamomile, linden (or limeblossom), clover, skullcap and a few others. the stronger ones are passionflower and valerian, generally used for promoting sleep rather than just relaxing. I found valerian can really knock me out and give my very vivid dreams (which is great when the dreams are good! they're amazing. but its not so good when the dreams are bad).

If you need something to help you relax, try meditation. It may take some time to learn, but it is legal and always availible.
