It's in our biology and our instincts. The best survival plan for males is to breed quickly and with as many partners as possible. As a result of this a picture of a hot woman, or a lap dance can get most men excited. Males are fertilizing machines and sex is almost always on our mind. It isn’t what men intend, it’s what their biology wants, and it is very hard to ignore your biology.
The woman is a more complex creature. She needs the relationship. Her instincts and her biology want her to find a mate and keep him. Then carry a child to term and raise it. That's why a lap dance might be exciting for a girl, but it is rarely enough. Women want that relationship. To promote this it takes longer for a woman to reach orgasm, the male must stay engaged longer and that increases the chance of pregnancy. They are also looking for more than a great set of muscles in a man, their biology gears them toward this approach. They need to find a mate that they can stay with for a long time. With that in mind they need a complex brain to handle the complex relationship issues. They also need to keep the attention of that mate, which is why women are "in season" all year around. Since sex is on the top of every male's brain, the woman can offer it and keep him around.
This isn't how men and women THINK this is how they FEEL. We can rise above our instincts. A male can stay with only one partner, and a woman can enjoy a lap dance, but the tendencies of each sex are still there and always crop up again, and again.
So yes a lap dance is supposed to give a man an erection at the very least. It is all in their genes, and it will happen if they want to or not.
Men are pretty simple creatures. Women look for the deeper meaning and often it is not there. It is not the fault of the man or the woman it is in their biology. If a woman asks that fatal question; “Does this dress make me look fat?” If the man says yes, then he probably means he doesn’t like that dress. If he told that to another guy, then the guy would probably just change clothes. If that guy asked the man if he thought he was fat then he would expect a simple yes, or no. However, to a woman when a man answers yes to that question she is thinking; “What do you mean I look fat, and are you telling me that I need to go on a diet, are you saying that I don’t please you any more! How can you have the nerve to say that!” And the guy ends up spending the night on the couch for some reason that he can’t understand. If he tries to explain himself then the woman will look for the deeper meaning and the man will just dig himself a deeper hole. If the woman simply said, “Do you think I am fat?” Then the guy would probably just say yes or no. Whatever he says his thoughts will be one of three things: a.) NO you are not fat. b.) NO, I don’t want to tell you that you are fat, if I did then I would say “you look fat.” c.) YES, I think you look fat. He isn’t thinking the four other things that women are it just isn’t there. Now If a woman responds to that question, then yes she has a deeper meaning.
Don’t hate your man for getting hot with a lap dance it’s his instincts. Normally it doesn’t mean anything more than that. It doesn’t mean that he thinks you aren’t enough woman for him. It will probably make him want to go home and really, really want to have sex with YOU. Regardless of what he is thinking the woman giving the lap dance doesn’t want sex with him. Strippers look at the men as walking wallets. They have the same attitude that carnies have toward their marks (their customers). They are just someone to be used. It is possible for true sparks to fly with a lap dance, but 99% of the time they don’t and the guy won’t get anything more than the dance, and the moment he goes broke, the stripper is gone.

It depends on what you PAY FOR and the type of club you go to. Sometimes depending on the guy ( 2 minute lover ), he may just want to get horny but has an accident.
BTW some guys who can get women do pay for lap dances( or sex ). A lot of women don't seem to understand this concept. Some guys pay for sex not for the sex itself but for the convenience of commitment free intercourse. It basically is like ordering take out or buying fast food . You could cook a home made meal but you don't want to deal with the tedious preparation and clean up.

That depends on the establishment you are patronizing. I have a friend who goes to many of those places. Some just get you horny, other will do more. He told me many places, where the rooms are very private, the girls will do anything and he meant anything and everything. Just know the rules of the place so you don't get in trouble. Happy hunting, or should I say dancing.

Depends on the guy. Sometimes I think he gets off and other times he wants attention from a beautiful woman. Either way I think it's a lack of attention from the opposite sex or he is not happy with his wife or partner. why else would one go and get a lap dance?

It's really just to tease them, so you can take there money, and be on your way. If they become horny great (they'll be back), if it got them off (in some cases you maybe in trouble). Cause then they don't leave you alone.

it all depends on the guy.. if he's a virgin, then he may get off... think about it, if you were a guy, an you were a virgin, an you had a beautiful girl dancing in front of you.... wouldn't you get off too?? but if he's not a virgin, then he shouldn't get off from a lap dance!! that's just my opinion.

no. it just something to do. i went the other weekend for a bachelor party. you bring like 20 singles just to spend on a hard working girl and drink some beers. its like a hang out place where half naked chicks dance on you. its really the same as going to a bar and buying drinks for a girl then dancing with her. guys and girls like to hang out with eachother. sometimes its easier to just spend money on a stripper then a random girl.
