Yes, Laurence Maroney is only a back-up for the Patriots. Fred Taylor is going to get more carries and endzone touches since Greg Jones is out for the season. Laurence Maroney doesn't even get the goal line touches, becuase Corey Dillon gets them and Kevin Faulk is going to get the pass receptions. Laurence Maroney is a tier 3 back, at the most.

No, Fred Taylor ALWAYS gets injured. Maroney is a stud - I watched him at the U of Minnesota. Keep Maroney. if you do trade him, trade him to me.

No. Fred Taylor is and always get injured. Dillon is getting old, and Maroney will replace him sometime during the season.

I say you do it. This trade might not pay off immediately, but will in the long run.

Maroney is expected to take over the starting job for the Pats early in the season. Pats arent very happy with how Dillon has been performing.

Taylor doesnt run as much as he used to. His yards have decreased the last 3 seasons, and he has a meagre 11 TDs combined in the last 3 seasons.
