no, it moves right... f(x)=x ... f(0)=0, if you replace x with x-3, f(x)=x'3, you have f(3)=0

The graph of a function y=f(x) changes so( consider a>0):
a) adding a to y it shift a units up y= f(x) + a
b) adding -a to y it shift a units down y= f(x) - a
c) adding a to x it shift a units left y= f(x+a)
d) adding -a to x it shift a units to right y= f(x-a)

Note: in all case the shape does not change
