I was just watching Beyonce's performance for "Ring the Alarm" at the MTV VMA show and I was wondering if she lipsynced or if she was singing live? Please explain what you've heard, thanks!

I believe that she was singing but over a recording of her own voice...so basically lipsyncing. They all do it, it's a shame that hardly anyone sings live anymore! They earn too much money to be lipsyncing in my opinion.

a lot of times at big shows like that singers do lipsync... but i didn't see the VMA show so i really don't know... sorry i can't be of more help!

You know, I betcha a lot of artists lipsynch. It's hard to do all that jumping around and sing at the same time. Tonight...puff, puff... I'll be... wheeze... your naughty girl. Well, even though that would go with the gist of the song, lol. I have no objections, as long as it is their voice they are moving their lips to.

no, but some of the back up parts were on the speakers she sang the main part herself..if u rewatch it u can tell

Yes she did, only because she had to dance, but usually she sings and doesn't lip sync

I don't know but maybe she did...In those big shows with dancing and stuff they always lip-sync.Even if she did or didn't it was a great show.
