Why would they affix the death penalty to a parking offence? You aren't physically or mentally hurting anyone, and you aren't threatening the health of the public at large. Your car is at rest and not moving. There is however, the problem of people doing dumb things and parking in front of the driveway that the ambulances use. I've seen that before.

If the death pentaly was really a deterrant, then why are there still murders and serial killers? Wouldn't they realize that they'll get a life sentence or some sort of death sentence for their crimes? If it's not already a deterrant, then why would it be effective for something so trivial in the grand scheme of things as a parking violation?

The death penalty didn't reduce theft when stealing bread was a hanging offence - but it would almost certainly start a revolution.

Not if the Parking Attendants were the ones to hang. They and their bosses seem obsessed with the power-pleasure of clamping, ticketing, harrassing and official snooping.

What happens to the offenders car?
I would first like to see kneecapping for TWOK-kers introduced, and burglars made to sell everything and pay reparations.

The death penalty has never been a deterrent to any of the crimes it applies to so I doubt it would matter.
