How old are you, and are you a guy or a girl?
The Old Man and the Sea is fairly short.
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is quite interesting, if you like family dramas, and TGM is also a family drama (You will probably find these two in play format);
As I Lay Dying, I really liked, but I love to read; I would say it would be the least popular of these, in my opinion.

Read the Tennessee Williams, his characters are always complex and bold, not to mention a little crazy. He is a very entertaining author. However, The Old Man and the Sea, has this homo-sort of undertone that is kind of amusing. They are all great books read them all instead of just one.

All are excellent. PLEASE capitalize the titles of books!!!! 1&3 are novels while 2 are plays. Of all f these, my favorite as a student and then later as a teacher was THE OLD MAN AND THE SEA. It is short and poignant. Monarch Notes and Cliff Notes both have excellent study guides for the novel.
Good luck!!
