shes really hard cuz she doesnt really listen to music and she only watches dvds once...
should i ask her what she wants and how should I ask her?

Buy her a gift certificate for a facial, massage and pedi/manicure if you can afford all three. If not get her the massage! She'll love you for it, even more than she does now!
Or if you don't have that many bones, take her out for a nice lunch. Just you and her and buy her a nice bouquet of flowers.
Mom's love their kids gift or not!

I think your mom would enjoy your company. Get her some nice flowers, a card, then take her out to lunch or dinner. Go shopping with her, even if all you do is look at stuff. Or sit around with her and watch TV, help her clean the house, or whatever.
Once moms have what they want in the material world, what they really want is to spend some time with their kids, even if it's just for the day.
Have Fun with her and enjoy her company while you can, I recently lost my mother and can't do things with her any more and I miss that.

Buy her a dvd she hasn't seen or her favorite movie. Some flowers. Or if u haave enough money u can buy her jewlery or make something.
Or if u want 2 ask her. just tell her about her birthday and ask her what she wants.

Depends on how much money you can spend.
If you can afford it, you could pay for her to spend a day in a local spa. I'm sure she'd love a relaxing day like that.

Why not work on a photo album of significant times in her life (wedding, birth of children, graduation, retirement, etc.) All moms love those books full of memories! :)

get her something sweet like a box of chocolates! don't give her flowers b-kuz they'll end up dying anyway. i think the last thing you want to say to her is "my love to you is like this flower, pretty in the beginning, dead after a few days"...
trust me, sweets are the best way to go.
