I was friends with this guy (through work) for anout 3 years. I liked him and made it obvious. I was told he liked me and he had made this clear to me also. Things started going places with us and then all of a sudden he backed off. I was upset but let this go and it went no further. then a few months later at a party he pulled me aside and told be that he regretted not taking the "relationship" further and asked me would I give things a go with him. I told him I didn't want to be made a fool of again and that i needed time. The next day I called him and asked him out, only for him to tell me he had a girlfriend!!!!!! What is the story with that????

option 1: he likes u but is 2 afraid 2 commit like the first time he couldn't commit and now he just lied about his GF
option 2: u misunderstood him and he meant at the party tat he wanted to become friends again and u shouldn't of asked him out
option 3: HE IS JUST MESSING WITH U AND ALREADY HAS A GF SO U NEED 2 GET REVENGE
option 4: he is shy and talk 2 him and see if he likes u and if he still does then wait a little bit and see if he ask u out
option 5: when u asked him out he was imbarresed or shy and u need 2 talk 2 him again

I think...the reason he backed of in the first place was that he met someone else. Things must not have been going well, and when he saw you at the party he thought he could have you as back-up. Between then and the next day when you called, he and his girlfriend worked things out. So...he is a big user, and you should stay away! Good riddance. Definitely move on.

He was @ a party first of all. Secondly he might have been drunk or simply way too tired to think strait. I had a girl do that to me @ a dance and I just sayed screw her, I don't nees assholes like that in my life.

just forget about him you don't need somebody like that, he wuz just using you then he started messin with someone else then that person stop messin with him then he tried to get back with you then when you said you needed time he just went and found someone else
