I have always had goth tendencies, my mom and others thought i was doing something really wrond when i wore black. I love God and have as far back as i can remember. I recently stopped caring what people think and am being myself.....tell me about one of your experiences or about your lifestyle as a Christian and Goth

I think many times goth is connected with bad things and that Christians shouldnt do this. I dont care what people look like or wear if they truely love God. I knew this biker that always wore leather, had tatoos everywhere, had lots of piercings, owned a bike shop, and had is beard braded in all sorts of ponytails and braids and he was one of the coolest Christians I have ever met. I even made these crosses out of left over metal and gave them out for free. I would much rather spend a day with him then a stuck up baptist who judged others and wore conservative church clothes all day. I say if you love God then good for you. Maybe God wants to use you to reach out to the goth community.

I have some friends who are both goths and devoutly Christians. Being goth has nothing to do with religion, so the two are not mutually exclusive, in fact they are highly compatible. I can't say for sure whether you're a goth or not, but that's not the point. Whether you just want to wear all black or you're gothic, neither are in conflict with Christianity. The actual name for Goth is Visagoth, which were a tripe from the middle-east. Guess people don't read there history.

Secondly who cares if you wear black. That isn't Satanic. Even White clothes can be worn in a satanic meathod.

I don't think you're actually "goth". Wearing black does not make you a goth. Do you even listen to goth music and appreciate goth aesthetics?

just because you like to dress "goth" doesn't mean you are goth, there is simply no way the two "religions" can go hand and hand, only if it's for fashion. I love that style of cloths but I found that goth is not a healthy lifestyle.

I'm both. Why should I have to explain anything?
