According to current theory, women are genetically programmed to desire alpha males. Height is a signal of dominance whether or not the individual has a dominant personality. Therefore, shorter men are generally perceived as less dominant and thus less desireable.

The good news for short guys (a category that includes me) is that height is not the only dominance signal. Social status -- and the things that indicate it -- work just as well, better in some cases. You can make up for being short by dressing well and being well-groomed. Displaying nonphysical dominance over other males (i.e. by being socially adept) also helps.

I guess taller guys are more appealing. I'm only 5"2, and I just want a guy who is at least my height, so I have alot of options out there since most guys I know that are old enough for me to like are at least my height. My bf is 6"3 however, and I love it because it makes me feel very feminine cause I'm so small compared to him.
