I don't know why it is costing you that much, but XBOX 360 is AWESOME. Look on ebay for games though, you may be surprised by how cheap some of them go for. As far as everything else, when you get a 360, you get a free month of XBOX Live, and if you have a router already, you can use that. If you are thinking of buying the overpriced wireless network adapter, forget it. You can buy a much cheaper one from someone else. Mine is wired, which I enjoy since it is the most reliable...

I think you answered your own question! I don't like any form of XBOX! I will stick with PlayStation components, because they will always have a million more games to choose from, as a lot of those game companies have a distribution deal with them, so they are exclusive to Sony! Plus I was never impressed by the XBOX, the only sort of tight feature was the play your own music while you play the game feature, and most games didn't even allow it! Hell if that's all I want, I can listen to the songs on my stereo and mute the game!
