i had to deal with the same thing. wat i do is i call and email her. we r still best friends and it has been a year. maybe it will work 4 u!

She WAS your best friend? There's nothing that says she can't still be your best friend once she moves. My best friend moved 3,000 miles away a little over a year ago, back on the second of August. She was my best friend for five years before she moved and she still is now. We dont' talk as much and of course we aren't spending the night at each other's house..but she's still my comrade. Just breathe. Its not the end of the world.

True friendships last forever! No amount of distance should be able to come between you and your best friend. You'll see. However you will also see that you have room in your heart for new friends. Things will work out just fine. I'm sure of it.

When I moved by best friend got a bunch of my friends to write something about me and he then gave it to me. It still makes me feel good seeing it. Try that.

Let your friend know how important the relationship was to you. You could also let your friend know how the relationship has changed you. Then after all that exchange addresses in this age of computers the relationship doesn't have to end
