Soak your nails and fingertips in acetone nail polish remover...it tastes like crap and it made me stop bitting my nails! You can also try jalepeno juice or tabasco sauce...those hot enough to make you think twice about bitting!

Picture yourself with strong healthy nails. Picture yourself being pampered with a hot oil manicure, it feels so good.
Real nails are the way to go. Guys do not like fake nails or really anything fake on girls.
I think you will enjoy letting your nails grow to a short to medium length, they will look natural, pretty and most of all you will feel pretty and feminine.
Start by putting on a layer of clear coat every night (I use Sally Hansen hardener, it's clear pink and in the round bottle). It tastes bitter so that might help. Keep doing it for a week then remove it and start over, as soon as you notice some length start filing and trimming them in no time they will be way too nice to bite.

I bite too.
I am biting again at the moment but I did stop by using clear varnish and scrapping that off instead. Eventually my nails grew enough that i could see results so I kept going. You need to then buy a nail tough varnish as they will be brittle from years of biting. Good luck.

Go to Wal-mart, on the nail isle's look for a product called "stop nail bite" or something like that... I think it will be by the fake nails, and stuff.. if not just ask an employee, they will know where it is... It tastes horrible, it you put you fingers in your mouth while you have on this polish stuff...

that's the assumption at the back of the Polish, with the intention to stop you from chewing on the nails it has to flavor gross, with the intention to stop your habit. you will possibly desire to have the potential to do it your self in case you purely decide to have magnificent nails, and have them polished. even a undeniable band help will do it if gets your interest, and stop you from biting them. in basic terms think of how magnificent your palms will look with completely groomed and polished finger nails. and quickly you could have them, and be pleased with your accomplishment.

I had this habit too but I just painted my nails and it stopped me from biting them. Usually ... just keep your nails painted all the time so you won't bite.

Maybe get something to keep your hands busy. (A koosh (sp?) ball or stress ball or something so you can keep your nails where you won't bite them.) If you go this route, you may have to explain to the teacher though why you have something like that, so you don't get in trouble. :þ

Put a wide rubber band on your wrist. Every time you go toward your nails, snap it really hard.
