I like jazz vocalists!
Nat King Cole
Ella Fitzgerald
Louis Armstrong
Sarah Vaughn
Billie Holiday
Nina Simone!
Rachell Ferrell
Ray Charles
Carmen McCrae
Jamie Cullum (the new kid)
And, I believe hip-hop has some roots in jazz and scat, so my number eleven will be Michael Franti, who is pure jazz/hip-hop.

I'll go ahead and answer, but I know it's not what you are looking for. I hate hip hop. My favorite band is Green Day. After that it's My Chemical Romance. So I don't even know why I'm bothering to answer your question. Pointless. We all have different tastes! That's life! Rock on. Or should I say Rap on?.....
