MTV. What real bands from the 70's eventually sold out when video killed the radio star in the 80's?

One perfect example is Genesis. Their career could be seperated by MTV and post MTV. Also, pre and post Gabriel, but that's not my point.

MTV sold out themselves its nothing but trash

Most of the MTV bands were new in the 80's, Genesis changed when Gabriel left. MTV hired alot of unknown bands when it first started up. Queen was right, radio won out after all.
