It really seems odd to me that white women will allow hollywood to portray them as trashy whores that can't keep their panties on. I was tugged in to see : The devil wears prada and it had the same ole storyline, white women have no morals while other ethnicities are pure and wholesome, this isn't a racial question it's a morals question, do white women not realize what image hollywood is assigning to them? an women still pay money to be portrayed as slu'ts. I have a real problem with the way hollywood portrays white women, for a long time , the blacks were portrayed as thugs and gangsters with no morals, until it became un-fashionable to continue that storyline, now it's whites that are being attacked. I don't understand why they must always run people down to make a movie. am I the only one who notices this cycle?

for rukidding, that's my point, you never saw or noticed the girl getting drunk and ending up in the sack with the guy. this movie wasn't quite as bad as most, but it's a common storyline, and no I don't watch WB trash TV. or any other trash TV for that matter.

I understand it's only a movie but it's movies that influence our opinions, you can't watch it and not form an opinion. if women want respect they should rebel when they see their gender being assaulted, it reflects on all of them.

No you aren't the only one. But if everyone were portrayed well, would people still watch the movie? Unfortunately, the things that make money are often not best for society.

Where was the whore(s) in "The Devil Wears Prada?" I didn't see any. I didn't see any sex in the movie at all. It was one of the few good ones out recently. I didn't expect that.
I don't think that white women are portrayed that way at all. In fact, I think that Black women tend to be portrayed that way more often still than White women. Have you ever watched the shows on the WB?

They care about the money and they do what the people want to see. Why is it that all the tabloids always seam to "catch" the same people. And why do they get married so Meany times It's A big joke I they want not to be caught they could It's a bunch of bull.
