I think it stems from our youth and how we were raised. I also think religion has a lot to answer for. Sex outside of marriage is classed as taboo and if you engaged in that kind of thing you would go to hell. It doesnt matter whether you are a religious person or not, those values are still around even today. So, for a lot of women that gives a message that sex is to have children and to "please" their husbands and really have never seen themselves as a sexual being in their own right. That is one reason, there are thousands of others. If you have been in a long term relationship and sex becomes a "routine", then it will become boring. Sex (I prefer to call it intimate moments....anyone can have sex, but for it to be trully satisfying there has to be deep intimate feelings). Both parties need to keep the intimacy alive by doing things you used to do when you were dating. I was married for 20 years, but I would still surprise my husband by taking him out to dinner, then go parking afterwards and make love in all sorts of places....it kept it alive. We didnt take each other for granted and knew we had to work on keeping that part of our marriage alive. Unfortunately people get so caught up with life/children/work, etc, that they forget about their relationship.

I was raised by parents who allowed me to be myself....good and bad. I was allowed to come to my own conclusions and religion wasnt forced down my throat as a child. Sex, for me is the end result of loving someone totally...it is about the closest two people can get.

A man can have sex without too much prompting, but a woman as I am, who loves intimate times, will not feel like having sex with a man if I am not romanced and feell the love. I think most women are the same, they need that extra attention. It is a very individual thing and you need to ask your wife why she has lost interest in sex. Be straight up and ask her if there is anything you could do to bring back those feelings for her. If you have an honest, equal relationship, then she will tell you.

Maybe you are not doing it for her anymore. Maybe she doesnt feel the love and the wanting...maybe she doesnt feel the intimacy....Maybe all she feels is that she is a commodity and just doing her "wifely" duties once a month. You can only know this if you talk to her honestly.

It is so sad that husbands and wives lose that intimacy. Lack of intimacy/sex in a marriage is the major reason why husbands/wives cheat...leave their wives/husband. It is not a small problem and should be taken seriously by both partners and really needs to be talked about honestly, then work out a plan to try to get the intimacy back. Sometimes just sitting quiety and remembering the feelings you had when you met each other can make all the difference. You both need to start seeing each other differently, and remembering what it was like when you were dating is a good way to do that.

Good luck, it is a big problem, so dont allow anyone to tell you any differently. To know what I am saying is the truth all you have to do is to look at the statistics of marriage break ups.

Sometimes after a while, you don't feel the same connection with your husband that you felt at first. It could be that especially after having kids, you don't have as much time and/or energy because you have so much more to do around the house. could be you don't have the same sex drive or attraction because of any number of reasons, including less time spent together, or even some medications. If this is a problem that you are having with your wife, maybe you should sit down and have a conversation with her about it. Sometimes, it is a misunderstanding and you can both make small changes in your life to make things better for you both.

It all depends. Some women are going throw menopause and have lost their sex drive, some don't like what their husbands are doing in the bedroom, and some just lost their love of sex. Another reason could be that they are cheating, but don't jump to conclusions.

I think women think so much differently then the man does. If a woman is not satisfied with you outside of the bedroom most likely you are not going to get any. The more love and attention you give her outside of the bedroom the more likely you will get more.

Its not just women its men as well, its all based on what type of person u are, age, and sex drive... some have a higher sex drive then others, some have a very low sex drive, but it goes for both men and women, my sex drive is much higher then my husbands, its not that he doesnt want to have sex, its just that he doesnt "need" sex as much as i "need" sex..

It could be because some men don't give their wives the big "O". And then some women just don't have time........with full time jobs, a house to take care of, the kids, cooking, cleaning, doing laundry etc. some women are just worn out when its time to go to bed.

I can't speak for others, only myself. I love sex but if he's treating me like I'm worthless, I lose the mood. Its all in how I'm treated. I can still want sex, but I'm no longer in the mood to be with him!!

There are different reasons it might be a side effect of a medication. It might be hormones, change of life or something. Have you asked her? Try new toys or something. Good luck

that really depends on the person to each his own. some women may feel that they got the prize and don't feel like being bothered all the time who knows it is the persons prerogative
