There are 3 stories in the Neverending Story Series. The first was based on a book from 1984, and the tagline is that a boy who needs a friend finds a world that needs a hero in a land of imaginaition, through the pages of a book. The second movie, The Neverending Story 2, made in 1990, is the next chapter of this boys adventure. Although this movie stars none of the previous cast as in the first movie, it still has the same tagline, as the boy re-enters this world of imagination. The Last movie that has been made, The Neverending Story 3, "Escape From Fantasia", has to be my favorite. Made in 1994, this movie is about the boy, well known as Bastian, must restore order, when a group of bullies end up taking his magical book that acts as the protal between this fantasy and earth. Again, in all three of these movies, none of the actors are the same, and the actor that plays Bastian especially in all three movies is different. PROPS TO THIS QUESTION, IT MADE ME REALIZE HOW MUCH I ENJOYED THESE MOVIES! :)

Yes I do.I always wondered what happened to the boy from the original.I don't remember seeing him in any other movies.

The first movie was good...but take my advice - read the book! It was incredible!
