Ive got a tattoo Ive not been back for another one tho................. I had a sun type thing on my back, me and my girlfriend had the same one done at the same time. So I;m sat astride this chair and the guy has started the tattoo. I then wake up with a mop bucket in front of me and my g/f looking very concerned............ . I' d only bloody passed out............................. I've never been so ashamed. Now I'm not squeamish and I usually have a high pain thresh hold but its a funny type of pain.................
If i could have general anaesthetic I'd have another.
I don't like to see names and hearts and roses etc as I think they are a bit cliche

I agree, tattoos are good in majority, I had one a few years back and have just had to get another one, don't know why it happens but alot of people get addicted to it, i think there is a limit though too many is just not nice.
The second time round i got my new baby girls name and date of birth done on my lower back, proud as punch.

i got one done three months ago. And once you feel and see the needle going into your skin. You are hooked. Because after you go through the little bit of pain. You are left with a piece of art. That you have for the rest of your life. But that is just my opinion. And only get a tattoo if you really want one. Dont just get one just for sake that your friends are getting one. And also think about what you want. Because its going to be on your body for the rest of your life.

They are extremely addictive. I got my first when I was 38... I'm now 45 and have 16 with so many more planned, it's just nuts.
But then, I also don't have to worry about how I look to get a job since I am on a permanent vacation.
Tattoos and other body art can reflect the anxiety level of a person. The more extreme the bod-mods, the more anxiety you most likely have.

NO! A decision made now, can't easily be reversed later even with professional tattoo removal, which can be even more painful.
Also people who undergo MRI exams are informed that their tattoos
will cause pain due to the metallic ingredients in the ink. It feels like the machine is lifting the ink from their skin as a magnet lifts metal.

I am a 47 year old male. I do not have a tattoo. Most of you here seem to be young females advising to get more than one.
I dearly hope you believe me when I say, don't do anything that will scar yourself for life. Tattoos on old people make them look pathetic, ignorant, and stupid.
Whilst you are most likely young and beautiful at the present time, and can easily get away with having a tattoo or two, you will age and your beauty will fade.
Why not invest in temporary tattos, and have as many as you please. That way you can always change your mind, and keep more of your innate beauty for longer.
If you happen to be male, you can get away with it a little more than a female. However I still advise against it.

I love tattoo's. It's a way to express yourself. Your body is a canvas. They are very addicting. As of right now I have 11 tattoo's, & yes I want even more. So far I have: My son's name, a flaming star, an icy star, a music note, zodiac sign, tribal cross, dragon, spider hanging from a web, sun, melting moon, & a skull.
Piercings are addicting too. I have 6. I think thats all I want though.

I got my first tattoo just b4 i turned 18. I always new i wanted one. It is of the union jack flag, now i have 2 more a small black dragon and a flower with a little butterfly on it. I have never regretted having them done. People dont have to know u have tattos unless they are in a place where they are on display, fortunately mine are hidden depending on wat clothes i wear.
I will no doubt get more done but wen i am older. As i am now a blood donor and bone marrow donor volunteer. I want to help other people b4 i treat my self to another.

Tattoos are so going to be out of style soon. If you want at tattoo, do like the celebrities do and get temporary ones.
