Inequality is (x - 4)/(x + 3) > 2

Variable is x
so i would say ;
Result
exact : -10 < x < -3

approximate : -10. < x < -3.

(x - 4)/(x + 3) > 2

thus

x-4 > 2(x+3)
x> 2x + 10
-x> 10

x<-10 <----- answer
