Do feel sorry for me. I DON'T get time and a half. I was told "that's just the way it is."
If the company I work for only knew how frustrated employee felt over no holidays of any kind, they might re-think their policy, if only to have rotating holidays to give staff time to spend with their friends and family.

go to the races, (saturday nite)
go visit my fathers grave, (sunday)he died last year on the 3rd, :(
and just hang out at home and clean my house.
