First question would be how old are you 2 and have either of you ever been sexually active? If the answer is yes I implore you NOT to do it. A life time of AIDS is NOT worth being able to say you are blood sisters. My sister "online dear friend" and I wrote up adoption papers and she adopted me as her sister. I now have papers that will last forever to show our undying love. Be creative and do something like that!!! Good luck and yes having a loving sister is the best gift you can give yourself!!

Due to the increased risk of diseases, I highly discourage this age-old ritual. Why not suggest some other way of expressing this bond? One group of "blood sisters" I went to college with bought each other matching underwear, or there's always the traditional "BFF" necklaces, bracelets, key chains, etc. However you choose to express this bond should be unique and special to you and your best friend... but there's nothing cool about sharing something you'd rather not.

It's lame. What are you girls like 10? Anyone knows the blood doesn't run through each other's veins it just gets msashed together and then wiped off. Plus you might get a disease. Just buy some BFF necklaces for goodness sakes!

Its just a symbol. You two are good enough friends not to need to do something like that to prove it. Get matching tattoos or piercings if you want to have some sort of bonding blood ritual.

yeah, not a smart idea, if you want to become vulnerable to something like AIDs by sharing a needle than go for it.
but i can imagine you are a lot smarter than that. blood sisters are from birth, not from needles!

Well if both of you don't have any blood diseases or any STDs, then I don't think anything is wrong with it. It might look disgusting to someone, but if you want to do it, knock yourselves out.

In this day and age of HIV, AIDS and other blood born diseases, I would find another kind of bonding ritual.
