It would help if you had an idea of the city he lives in. He may eventually get a phone which would put him in public records. Social services should give you some help. The thing about them is that once you get them in your life they are harder to get rid of than cock roaches. I just kept using free seach engines to find my wife. Once she renewed her drivers license the free part gave out the city where she lives. I have never tried it, but it says that for just a few dollars they will give you the exact address. Even like the fifty dollar plan is not that bad.

Ok social services will be able to trace him, via national insurance number and the dss office, My little brother was adopted by his step dad and our dad was traced this way, I know this is none of my business but from searching for my little brother for 16 years and how hard it is to get to know your sibilings again, check if there are any other kids and let them know its ok to be sibilings. Hope all goes well x

Try www.ancestry.com this is a site that you have to be a paid member, but you can go in and go for the family tree as it is free, I had been looking for an EX of mine for over 20 years as he never paid child support, and while i were in ancestry I type in my EX name not knowing his address or phone number but I did remember where he last lived, and you wouldn't believe that I found HIM, it showed his name and his age, but not his phone number or his home address as you would have to become a paid member to see the rest of the information...I am going to buy the software next week at (Sam"s wholesale warehouse club) they sells the software for $40.00, but if you order it off line its higher..Good luck..

Depends on what and how much information you have to work with such as full birth name, social security number, last known city of residence, any previous criminal background, business information such as self employed, etc.
