What are the instruments played in the intro to the song ...?

"steady as she goes" by the Raconteurs. I know it might be a few different kinds of instruments , but im not sure. Could it be the electric guitar? I think it sounds too different to be a regular guitar. I would appreciate your answers. Thanks!! :)
