If you've never had one before, you should see a doctor first to make sure you don't have something worse than a yeast infection going on. All kinds of yeast infection treatments are available over the counter (w/o a prescription). If you can't get to a doctor right away, try one of those remedies first. That way perhaps you can get some relief from your symptoms. But still see the doc and make sure you've haven't picked up some nasty STD or an infection other than yeast.

Ok if your feeling a burning when your go to the bathroom most likely its an Urinary Tract Infection, as for the itchy feeling that you are having and the uncomfortable feeling, if you notice any kind of white discharge that an yeast infection. You need to see a doctor so that they can make sure that you have a yeast infection and nothing else.

It sounds like you may have thrush and maybe a UTI. Natural yogurt is good for thrush to treat the itching and you probably have some discharge too? It is a yeast infection and the natural bugs in live yogurt fight the bacteria.
Drink loads of water and try cranberry juice (find the one with the most% of actual fruit in) or try pomegranate juice both these are good for killing the bad bugs we get in our bladder from time to time leaving the good bugs alone to help fight the bug bugs away.
If you have sexual intercourse you need to make sure you get your partner to wear a condom as thrush can be passed. You can also get medicine in over the chemist counter to treat thrush.
If the juices and yogurt do not work after 48 hours you need to see a doctor.
I have just had the same thing and it is nasty and makes you feel dreadful so take care and rest and do not forget to drink loads it really does help!
Good luck!

I've never had one but my friend did.. she just went to the doctor and got it checked out and they gave her something for it.
But just a couple tips (not saying you don't) wash more down there and change underwear more often. Also if you're having sex make sure you pee and clean up good after it because that causes yeast infections too.

The only way to treat it properly is to know exactly what you have. Some things can't be treated with over the counter medicines. You need to see your doctor. He or she will probably have you give them a urine sample to test for bladder and kidney infections as well as checking for yeast infection. Kidney and bladder infections have to be treated with prescribed medications. Tell your mom and have her make an appointment.

if you have access to an OBGYN or planned parenthood clinic you should go see someone real quick, before the infection spreads. don't just use those over-the counter products. if you have been wearing tight jeans or shorts, stop wearing them, too.
Does your mother know about this, she should be the first person to know about it.
