I have to make a map for college?

the scale is a line with marks along the bottom

0-----1-----2-----3-----4-----5 (ish)

0 1 2 3 4 5

but with even spacings, and units


edit: it hasnt come out very well but i hope you get the point?

Scale on a map can be indicated by a scale bar and/or a ratio 1:n. A scale bar usually appears on the bottom of the map as a mini ruler. The scale bar can be oriented either Horizontally or Vertically.

As illustrated in the example above, you must adjust the length of the spacing to match the ratio of the scale.
