sometimes a computer might be "generic" ie. it wasnt built by a computer manufacturer, someone just built it from scratch by ordering all the components and putting them together (its very easy to do that). if your pc is a desktop n u bought it from the computer store next to ur house then its probably a generic pc.

Go to the control panel under the start menu, go to system and where it says computer, it should say

That might mean you have a generic brand. It is nothing bad! actually it is good. You can upgrade more easily.
