Because of pregnancy hormones you can be dryer during pregnancy or it is possible you could have a yeast infection. You should go to the doctor and rule out yeast infection first and if it isn't that, then this is my advice. A couple of years after I got married I was having problems with dryness and pain during sex. I tried replens which is pretty easy to find ( it may work for you) but it was awful for me. I was getting this really awful discharge from it that made me worse than before. Then I found this stuff made by Astroglide called Silken Secret and it worked great (in fact it eventually cured the dryness so that I didn't need it anymore). You put it inside just before sex. If you live in the States you shouldn't have too much trouble finding it at a drug store, but I live in Canada, and although a drug store carried it when I first bought it, they stopped selling it and I couldn't find it anywhere. I found a place to buy it on the internet ( I think it was thier own site) but it would have been complicated to get it that way, so i decided to ask the guy who owned the phamacy that I originally bought it from. He was so helpful. He actually ordered $60 of it for me from Montreal which was the only place he could find it. I only had to get him to order it once because, as I said, it eventually cured the condition. Anyway, I think if you can't find it anywhere else, you may have to get it over the internet, but it would definately be worth trying. Just in case, these are the ingredients. I dont think it would be dangerous for a pregnant woman , but maybe you should ask your doctor first. Purified Water, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Polyquaternium #5, Methylparaben, and Propylparaben. Another good product I found (which I still use) is Vagisil Intimate Moisturizer which is used on the outside, instead of using one like KY jelly. It is much better than KY because it doesn't get sticky. Good Luck! Hope it helps!

I have found sex to be uncomfortable for my entire pregnancy. We try different positions and they all hurt, sometimes I hurt all the next day, but I have a medical condition called vestibulitis and so I don't know how much pain that causes. Talk to your doctor if you are really concerned.

the pain may be your pelvic boners are stretching and stretching out your vagina but I dont think sex while pregnent versus not pregnant should make you hurt that much .
