Funny you should ask.
You can get downloads - does anyone still go into record stores. But on the topic of how we have tried to make it seem like they never existed.... they were the creation of the music industry's greed.
And secondly, regardless of the charade of the imposters, we refuse to admit that millions of us were grooving to those songs and they won a Grammy on the sound. If we weren't so hungry for the pretty visuals and let some ugly musicians get fame, this would have never happened. Besides, New Kids on The Block were supreme fakers too, they disbanded before that rumour grew too big. The stations still play C&C Music Factory's "Gonna Make You Sweat" when that singer was a fraud. because she was slim and sexy and the real singer Martha Wash was fat.
I've always said, why not let the unknown singers of the Milli Vanilli scandal, that were ALSO victims of Clive Davis' ploy to defraud the public, why not let them make more music?
The way the public reacted, I don't blame the real singers for wanting to remain as unknown as possible. But if Davis escaped any blame, it shouldnt have driven anybody to suicide.
