The right to be treated decently? Equal opportunity for jobs, getting an apartment, running for office?
These are rights for EVERYONE.

Every-time you post one of these stupid questions, you just make yourself look like a bigger idiot.
You should feel a little humiliated right now. You're obviously trying to get some point across on how much you hate gay people, but you're too big of a dumb @ss to word the question correctly. It came out making no sense!

Even those that support you seem confused by your questions. Perhaps you should rephrase it. I am not gay but g0y and I don't think anything beyond basic human rights should be extended but neither should discrimination be afforded either. I think that the lose of a job based on sexual orientation which is still legal should be addressed. I also think that a civil union right should be included that would afford the same rights as a spouse in those instances where homosexuals chose to have such an arrangement. Me and my g0y partner should I choose to get divorced should have the same rights as me and my wife have now. The state doesn't belong in any marriage or union. Currently the marriage that requires a license to be legal is a travesty before God. The state doesn't have the right to tell any consenting adults that they can not join into a holy covenant. That is between the two individuals and God.

If you hate gays so much, why do you spend so much time in the gay questions forum? If you need some way to get your jollies off because you are not man enough to get it in the real world, then get some kiddie porn and lock yourself in your parents bathroom. I don't need your "so called rights" big boy, because I don't give a second thought about something that means nothing to me.

Not certain what you are asking, but perhaps it is along the lines of whether or not there is an element of phoniness to the gay rights movements. I believe there is.
One of the other responders wrote... "There are no "gay rights". There are just human rights and they are the same for everyone - the right to live your life in whatever way you see fit, and enjoy equal legal, political, social ext. rights."
I agree with that completely. However it is inconsistent with the "gay rights movement" which seeks special privileges based on sexual orientation.
Much of this stems from the fact that for most of human history gays were discriminated in every area of life. Today, that is still true in many or most countries, but in this country gays are not discriminated against in any legal way. The "gay rights" movement has won its battle for legal equilty. But the phoniness of the movement is that it didn't stop with equality.
Today those "fighting for rights of the GBLT community" have an agenda that goes well beyond ending discrimination. But you can't compel people to *feel* a particular way. So much of the "gay rights" movement is based on compensating for how people feel, by punishing them through the legal system (mostly) and legislation.
A silly example years back was the inclusion of "Heather Has Two Mommies" as reading for 2nd Grade children. Should teachers be compelled to teach 7 and 8-year-olds about homosexuality? No, of course not. It does mean that "Heather" has a unique situation to deal with, but that is up to her two mommies.
Teaching that homosexuality is bad is indeed discriminatory, and shouldn't be done in public schools. Howver, not teaching about homosexuality does not equate to discrimination.
If I want to teach my children in my own home that Yankees suck and Red Sox rule -- that is my right. But I have no right to insist that or any other non-factual belief be promoted through public institutions.

I'm not 100% certain what you mean by "so called" Gay rights. Gay rights is a real issue, one that should be fought. I'm an active and verbal Gay rights activist and not ashamed to admit it. How can a real issue that is taking away certain basic rights from a group that just happens to be seen as different be "so called"? No matter our color, race, creed, religion or sexual orientation, we are ALL human beings and we should ALL have the same rights, period!
Your Welcome.

Those rights should not be infinged on unless the persons lifestyle intefers or endangeres the comunity. And "people in the coumunity don't like it" is nither. That is their own problem.

I am not really sure what you are getting at in your question. I'm a bit confused with the question. But I will say this. I know some gay folks and they were definitely born that way. It wasn't a conscious choice that they made.

Lemmy splain it to you Lucy, if you do openly discriminate against me within a public venue as in, getting an apartment, a job, some sort of insurance, or some kind of public assistance should I need it and do so openly, I'll sue your butt. If you don't do it openly you are nothing but another gutless coward and not worth the time it takes to tell you off. Either way, I win.

Human rights are intrinsic to all men and women and children who walk this earth.
Your ignorance does not add to the value, virtue, quality or consequence of my life.
You have no power.
Thank God.
