Yes, you can put just about any fish in with stars...Except puffers. The puffers will eat the stars over night. Stars will not stay just at the bottom, though; they like to be near flowing water, so don't be surprised if one or two stay near the outflow of the filter. Just be careful what fish you put in there; if it seems like it's attacking the stars, remove it ASAP.

Best of luck!

With you being a very experienced fish owner, I am sure you already know that starfish are marine (saltwater) creatures and will die if you put them into fresh water.

What are some of the "lots of species" you have "bred?"

Yes. You can put a few starfish in the bottom of an aquarium as they will stay on the bottom and live off all the bits that settle at the bottom

. No ........not all fish like starfish and would probabably eat them.make sure it is in a salt water tank. do not put it with aggresive or semi-aggresive fish or crabs and lobsters. When you buy the other fish look into them.associates can tell you what can go with starfish and what cant.
