I could look you in the eyes and tell you that I would never violate our friendship, and if you told me you have loved me for a very long time, and want me to take a chance with you.........I would have to tell you exactly how I feel about you. Now, it could be this person has also loved you for a very long time. And, everything would come together beautifully. But, on the other hand, this person may only think of you as best friends, and no ensuing relationship could develop. This is the chance you will be taking, so prepare yourself for it going either way.

I value good friendships over relationships. I have had a few situations like your asking about and tried taking that chance only to have the friendship part and relationship part crush. So i would choose the good friend part it keeps things a good level but there is no reason to have that real "good friend fun stuff" cuz it will last a lot longer then a relationship would. at least in my experience's.And yes I could honestly look into your eyes and say that but would not want to take that chance. Would not want to wreck a good thing.but ask you to just keep loving me and have lots of fun.

What constitutes a violation of a frienship? There are many kinds of love you can share with a friend; friendship love can be expressed in many different forms. You can love somebody in different ways, it doesn't have to be romantic, but if you feel you want it to go there, you owe it to both of you to get it out on the table; otherwise it will ache in your heart every time you are together.

To have a friend and a lover all rolled into one is the perfect soulmate. It needs a lot of nurturing.
