i thought my horse was a thoroughbred but vet says glenmoor pony

Hello,
Most ponies are not over 14.2 hands high from Wither to Bottom of front Hoof, while Thoroughbreds are generally 16 hands or a bit taller.

Well, first of all, it's a Glenmore Pony - there really isn't that much information out about the breed; so I'm quite surprised that the vet would know. A general rule for ponies is that they fall into a measurement of anywheres from 11.2 to 14.2 and weigh less than 1100 pounds.
