You took them up on the long term offer, but something went wrong! They can not restore you to human form, but your mind and senses are fine. The researchers establish mental communication with you, and explain things, and it turns out you can now alter your own form, but only into objects, not a person or animal. Since you can control your own shape, but are forever stuck not being human, what do you do?
I will post some thoughts later on about each of these in a series of four questions.
