After Olivier died there was a void in the acting world until DeNiro started to strut his stuff. DeNiro is probably the best actor in America today. As for actresses I would think it would be hard to pick one as there are a few who could be considered the best. The best looking actress is and has always been Sophia Loren. No other actress can hold a candle to her classically beautiful looks.

The most beautiful actresses are Wang Tsu-Hsien from Taiwan and Takeda Kumiko from Japan. It's difficult to choose between them for beauty. I suppose Antonio Banderas is a handsome gaijin.
