I decided to make my career in massage therapy. Iam currently going to school for it, and reciently I have started to wonder if I will even get any clients because of my tattoos I have on my right arm. They are not harsh ones, flowers,birds,and a fairy. I know that there are certain people who absolutly believe that marking your skin is wrong, so I dont have hopes of changing there minds but I'm concerned. Please send me your opions.Thank you.

~~~I dont think tatoos should matter to your clients,,,,See,,,your already thinking of your "clients" and how they might feel about your tatoos. That says it right there,,,you are a compsionate person,,,,that a perfect quality for someone who will be working with people,,,,(and getting a massage makes some people feel vunerable) I think you will do very well in your new career~~~
I would, as long as you are a licensed massage therapist, who cares what you tattooed on yourself. Would make for interesting conversation starters.
Sure would. And if it was good I wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending the therapist to others.
Tattoo's aren't just for biker gangs and prisoners anymore :) Even my 48 year old mother has one. (admittedly its of Tigger, but she still has one).
I would...no one would care that you have a tattoo just if you give a good massage :)
I DON'T THINK IT MATTERS IF A PERSON HAS A TATOO OR NOT.
